We enjoyed your music at Unity Church of Christianity's Thanksgiving Eve service. I have a lap dulcimer and have always wanted a hammered dulcimer. I have never heard one played more beautifully!

Dear Doug,

Oh, Doug...

Mike came home from his gig last night, popped your CD in the player, and I haven't stopped playing it since. It was wonderful listening to it all day long in the little shop I work at in historic Longwood. Would you be willing to let us sell them out of The Enchanted Cottage? I absolutely love it! It's playing right now (is it possible to wear a CD out?). I came home from work, made a cup of tea, lit a new candle from the shop and popped Rise in Love into the CD player. Life doesn't get much sweeter. Thank you! :) Buying a hammered dulcimer and learning to play it after getting a gig? Great story!

See you soon, and thank you so much again...

Blessings

Dear Doug,

I used your CD last night during a massage and I thoroughly enjoyed the music. It is exactly the kind of music I enjoy listening to, with intricacies woven throughout the melody. It's akin to the enjoyment I get listening to classical fugues. Thank you for sharing your talent with me! Hugs,

Hi Doug,

I was in Barnes & Noble just before Christmas doing a little shopping when I was fortunate enough to hear you play your last set; I fell in love with your music, it pulls at the soul. Well, I bought the CD for my mom for Christmas (you won out over Enya...no small feat!) and while she was visiting we listened to it every night before bed. Now for the bad part of the story. She's back in Minneapolis with the CD and I'm here in Orlando suffering from hammered dulcimer (I have no idea if that's the correct way to spell that.) withdrawals!!! I need help! I am hoping that you will assist me with two things

1. Where can I obtain another copy of your CD.

2. I would like to hear you play live...can you let me know when and where you will be playing in the future? Thanks,

Doug,

I wake up every morning to your Hammered Dulcimer CD Ð my wife has it hooked up to our alarm clock. It's the perfect way to wake up. Thanks!

Doug,

I heard about Brad Huff's comment and I had to tell you this. The other night I was home alone and all of a sudden I heard music playing from my 18 year old daughter's room. Well, she was on vacation so I was a little concerned! I went into her room only to be greeted by your music playing on her stereo! She had programmed it to come on every night at a certain time. Wow! You're music has caught the attention of a teenager! Thought you'd like to know.
